A Fashion Show for A.Y.U.D.A.

On December 18, Angel Child Magazine and John Casablancas Beverly Hills hosted an evening of fashion and glamour that brought world-level couture to Los Angeles. The celebration took place at the Wilshire Plaza Hotel, which hosted the red carpet event and presented, for the first time in the United States, the collections of celebrated French designer Eric Tibusch. All funds raised during the evening went to A.Y.U.D.A., American Youth Understanding Diabetes Abroad.
As one of the rising stars of Parisian fashion, Eric Tibusch brought cutting-edge fashion and designs to the night. The elaborate runway show entirely featured his work, and showcased the most representative pieces of the collections he designed in the years following his eight-year stint as Jean-Paul Gaultier’s right hand. It was an exceptional opportunity for the fashion community of Los Angeles to discover his unique and fascinating world.
The runway show represented world-renowned agencies including Ford Models, LA Models, Click Models and NOUS Models. The evening’s stars all started their careers at the John Casablancas Beverly Hills modeling and career center.
John Casablancas and Angel Child Magazine prepared the event to raise funds for A.Y.U.D.A., an organization dedicated to educating and empowering children and adolescents living with diabetes in the developing world.
Phalon Pride, a star model of Angel Child Magazine who is battling the illness, opened the event by underlining the needs of Central American children with diabetes. She is currently sponsored by John Casablancas Beverly Hills.
