AC: What is important to you when you think a friend is “ beautiful’
I: She has to have a good personality – it doesn’t matter what color her hair or eyes are – it’s just the whole combination
AC: Do you compare yourselves to what you see in magazines?
I: No, it’s obvious they are all touched up – all my friends know that too- nobody’s that perfect!
AC: What do you use, if anything, on your face?
I: I want to keep from having problems – I believe that you have to take care of your skin – I notice if I don’t put sun block ,my skin gets leathery looking – I want it to look healthy and natural . If you take care now it won’t get bad later so I always use a sun block
All my friends use stuff to keep their skin clear- I noticed if I used the same stuff all the time it works and than it stops working – my mom really helps me by getting me products to take care of my skin.
AC: What about make-up
I: I think you have to wait till 13 – I see girls over do it, they put way too much and they get ugly by putting too much on –I think just a little concealer and one eye shadow is enough. For hair, I think its better to do little things like just something around the edges, like highlighter because then it just gets too much.
AC: What would you like to read about?
I: People to know what they are doing to their bodies, what to do to keep healthy
AC: What would you like parents to know?
I: That if they don’t take care of the earth and clean things up - just leave it to every body else – it will be all get piled up on kids. I went on a school trip to the LA River – You can’t leave it to everybody else to worry about Global Warming
AC: What are you up do these days?
I: I draw some of the time- I am really involved in Cheer Leading
