Not only will adults not react like we have just touched a precious element of their private world, but they will actually enjoy helping us create a fun, lovely or terrifying makeup look for Halloween. Do we need to be a certain character, or simply show another side of our personality? Our look can be descriptive, or we can invent a totally new idea… But what is sure is that we want to surprise and fascinate.
Shiva, our makeup artist, prepared some simple ideas. Well, not that I could have done it quite like her, but for sure my older sister or my mother could have been the fashion makeup artist that afternoon to prepare my best look for Halloween.

So there I was, on that high chair, under bright lights, thinking “just a dark romantic style, please...” After all, I had just learned about the Romantic Period, and understood more about vampire stories. So, here I am slightly on the dark side, but still girly!

I am wearing a simple black Shirt from LA Made.
My preferred universe is actually more of a manga one, where a girl views herself as a doll. I love colors, powerful colors, and fun prints. So here I am in my Twelfth Street Girl bow dress! It was fun looking for the exact fuchsia and blue colors from the prints. I loved it.
Fuchsia Mac eye shadow, brown and plum Mac lipstick, natural plum Mac blush.
Well, afterwards, I decided really to scare my friends and changed it all. I put on my favorite LA Made striped hoodie, and we matched glossy metallic makeup with glittery black Mac eye shadow, white Lumiere shadow, a drop of Mac gloss, clear lip gloss and brown Mac face powder. Before Shiva had finished my eyes, I was already stealing some and applying it on my lips. Imagine: the makeup artist told me I had great ideas, and she perfected my mouth with a brush stroke. I was glowing, even for the middle of the night. Shiva called this look Electro Chic: I guess I’ll have to read some more to learn about this too...
