Pioneer of the Green Car

Renault: the Green Car Pioneer
Overcoming numerous challenges over the years, French carmaker Renault has become a true environmental pioneer in the automobile industry.

The company has been exploring different ways to achieve this goal such as making smaller cars and using electric energy, hybrid engines, hydrogen, biofuels and natural gas.

Renault Sport Spider: Already a Historic Car
Sensations without concessions
An atypical model, the Renault Sport Spider has everything a sports car needs. To achieve this, it makes no unnecessary concessions, honoring driving sensations and excitement rather than comfort.
It calls out to the tradition of small sports cars: it is light as a feather yet features an extremely powerful engine. It is certainly a worthy follower of the mythical Renault Alpine A610.
The Spider surprised more than one when it was first introduced in 1995. And unquestionably, this model has had a deep impact on the French automobile industry and on Renault’s image.
